Patient Intake Representative

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Patient Intake Representative to support healthcare operations remotely.

Key Responsibilities

Schedule discussions between providers and MDs regarding denied service requests
Research and resolve provider inquiries via phone and fax
Document referral requests and relay insurance coverage information to patients

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
At least 2 years of experience working with healthcare insurance
Knowledge of medical terminology
Experience in a pharmacy setting
Verifiable high school diploma or GED is required
