Job Category Technology Compensation Overview The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards. As a Senior Architect, Generative AI supporting Personal Insurance, you will collaborate with technology and business leaders and apply your knowledge of modern technology to influence and innovate solutions that impact the business. In this role we will look to you to:

Be results-driven with strong architecture and engineering skills, and expertise in Data Architectures, Generative AI, Machine Learning, Cloud-native, APIs, and Event-driven architecture.

Architect and design AI/ML/LLM models and solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and performance standards.

Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and methodologies, driving continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.What Will You Do? --- Collaborate with Personal Insurance and technology leadership to develop architecture priorities and direction to enable business imperatives.
--- Advocate for modern architecture principles and technology modernization.
--- Drive continuous technology transformation to reduce technical debt.
--- Partner with engineering to align skills with technology direction and execute proof of technologies.
--- Analyze industry and technology trends to leverage advancements.
--- Lead and define technology proof of concepts to validate architecture solutions.
--- Engage in hands-on prototyping of new technology solutions.
--- Define target state technology architecture and roadmaps.
--- Align IT initiatives with the target state architecture.
--- Communicate architectural direction and its alignment with enterprise strategy.
--- Optimize talent strategy to ensure appropriate balance of resources.

--- Perform other duties as assigned What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
Data Architecture Experience:
--- Hands-onexperience in the last 3 years
--- Experience modernizing data technology and information architecture on cloud
--- Experience in AWS components including Lambda, Kinesis/Firehose, Airflow, Glue, Spark, EC2, SageMaker, S3, NoSQL database and API Gateway
--- Experience in data streaming technologies
--- Experience with No SQL and GraphQL technologies
--- Experience in Data Modeling, Governance and Data Management
--- Personal Insurance technology experience
--- Experience with Data Governance and Management to enable data lineage, audit/ balance/ control, data domain and data quality projects
--- Experienced with large scale technology platforms
--- Experience modernizing data technology and information architecture on cloud
GenAI Experience:
--- Experience with Large/Small Language Models (AWS Bedrock, OpenAI) in application architecture.
--- Understanding of data preprocessing, augmentation, and handling large datasets.
--- Familiarity with Responsible AI Framework.
--- Knowledge of GenAI frameworks like Langchain, for building and deploying applications.
--- Proficiency in development technologies such as Python, NodeJS, React, RestAPI, MongoDB, etc.
--- Experience with specific DevOps and MLOps (Machine Learning) practices
Technical Skills:
--- Exposure and understanding of advanced analytics techniques using ML and Generative AI.
--- Experience with large-scale technology platforms and cloud data technologies.
--- Deep experience with AWS, APIs, accelerators, and DevSecOps.
--- Cloud Architecture Certification (AWS, GCP, or Azure) or strong cloud architecture experience.
--- Experience developing technology roadmaps aligned with business goals.
--- Experience in technology modernization, including cloud-native migration and API strategy.
--- Good understanding of security..

--- Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent with 6+ years of application architecture and 4+ years of experience in machine learning, deep learning or AI Architecture experience. What Is in It for You?
