This position is part-time working a total of 32 hours per week with benefits and opportunities to add hours for cross coverage and growth. This is a great opportunity for a dietitian wanting to increase experience in the area of pediatric nutrition, tube feeding management, counseling and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. - The Ideal candidate will have prior clinical, pediatric and outpatient experience. - -***Health Benefits and Paid Time Off Available!*** -Position will report to Clinical Nutrition Manager and ideal candidate: - -

• Must have an interest working with infants, children and teens;
• familiarity identifying pediatric malnutrition
• willingness to cover outpatient, support feeding clinic and cross cover to inpatient units;
• participation in performance improvement projects;
• providing training and nutrition education in a variety of settings;
• demonstrate an interest in partnering on research and outcomes, and will work to understand and improve nutrition approaches within the pediatric population;
• have prior outpatient education experience along with comprehensive Inpatient work.Is this opportunity right for you? Qualifications & Requirements: Basic Education Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) -For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) - -Credentials Requirement:Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. - In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
