Our culture is rooted in respect, integrity, and humility, and we are dedicated to delivering innovative, high-quality projects.Position Overview:We are seeking an energetic Senior Director of Electrical Engineering to lead our growing team. • Oversee the daily operations of the PV, BESS, power studies, and substation departments, ensuring projects are executed on time and within budget while meeting high-quality standards.
• Manage team workloads, establish clear objectives, and adapt strategies to align with evolving project demands and organizational goals.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality benchmarks while enforcing strict safety protocols.
• Develop and implement engineering best practices to maintain consistency and excellence in all deliverables.
• Proactively identify and manage project risks to mitigate issues and delays.
• Lead the creation of innovative engineering solutions, especially within the renewable energy sector, to maintain our competitive edge.
• Guide teams through technical challenges, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
• Drive financial performance by achieving revenue and profitability targets, managing departmental budgets, and optimizing resource allocation.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering tailored solutions that exceed expectations.
• Monitor client satisfaction and address concerns proactively to ensure positive experiences and high retention rates.
• Explore opportunities for expanding existing client relationships and pursuing new business development initiatives.
• Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent and build a collaborative, high-performing team.
• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members, promoting career growth and a culture of learning.Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering, particularly in PV, BESS, power studies, and/or substation projects.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams of 10 or more.
  • Proven success in a leadership role within consulting, engineering, or renewable energy sectors.
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities focused on team development and client satisfaction.
  • Solid financial acumen with experience driving departmental growth and profitability.
  • Experience in process optimization and performance improvement.Travel & Location:Candidates based in Minnesota are preferred, but remote applicants are welcome.
